Good for the Planet
Organically grown
No pesticides. no insecticides. No fertilisers. Bamboo is naturally organic and doesn't require pesticides to enhance its growth.
Consumes less water
Bamboo is self-sufficient and requires no irrigation. All water used in the production process is recycled. That's 1/3 the amount of water to grow vs. cotton!
Improving air quality
Bamboo plantations produce 30% more oxygen than an equivalent area of trees and absorb more carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases.
Fast growing
Bamboo is the fastest-growing and most versatile plant in the world, with some species of bamboo shooting up as much as one metre a day!
Good for You
Eternal Softness
Bamboo viscose gets softer with every wash. As the fibres relax and settle, they create a lasting, soft texture.
Breathable & moisture-wicking
The structure of the bamboo fibres contains micro-gaps, which provide ventilation and evaporates moisture; keeping you dry and fresh throughout the day.
Anti-bacterial & anti-fungal
Bamboo contains an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal bio-agent which is retained through the process of fabrication and after washing many, many times. This property also makes Boody garments odour-resistant. Sounds good... and smells good.
UPF50+ Sun protection
All Boody garments are made from a UPF50+ rated fabric to protect yourself from ultraviolet (UV) damage. Layer up!
