This hot chocolate is gluten, sugar and dairy free and is so delicious that it almost tastes too good to be healthy.
It’s also made with a few simple ingredients that are readily available so there’s no excuse not to give this a bash.

WINTER WARMER HOT CHOCOLATE
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
1 to 2 TBS date syrup
1 TBS cocoa powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
A pinch of ginger, cloves and cardamom
1 tsp coconut oil (optional)
METHOD:
- Add milk to a pot and bring to the boil. Alternatively, add milk to a microwave friendly jug and microwave for 90 seconds.
- Lower to a simmer and add the cocoa powder and stir.
- Add in the spices and continue to stir.
- Stir in the date syrup, followed by the optional coconut oil (stirring until the coconut oil has melted)
- Serve immediately.
