Breast Cancer Awareness: Comfort Through Every Stage

From everyday support to the changes that come with life, finding comfort in what we wear can make a difference

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to pause and think about our health, our bodies and the importance of looking after ourselves.

This October, Boody is launching a new Breast Cancer Awareness underwear range in support of The PinkDrive. Proceeds from every BCAM item sold throughout October will be donated to the organisation, supporting its work in breast cancer awareness, early detection and prevention.

It’s also a good reminder that our bodies don't always stay the same. What we need from our clothes and underwear can shift with us, whether we're starting a new chapter, getting to know our bodies in a new way or simply looking for something that feels better than what we've worn before.

A bra is something many women wear every day but finding one that feels comfortable isn't always as simple as it should be. At Boody, we believe comfort should be part of the experience at every stage.

Comfort looks different for everyone

There isn't one way to feel comfortable in a bra.

Some women want more support, others prefer something softer and lighter, some want a style they can wear all day, while others are looking for something comfortable enough to relax in at home.

What we need from our underwear can also shift as we move through life. Pregnancy, motherhood, weight changes, ageing or simply getting to know what works for you can all influence the way you choose what to wear.

That's why comfort isn't about finding one perfect style. It's about having options that work for where you are now.

Underwear that moves with you

The best everyday essentials are the ones you don't have to think about too much. They're the pieces you reach for in the morning, wear through the day and forget about until it's time to change.

That's what we aim for with Boody bras.

Made with our signature bamboo viscose fabric, they're soft and breathable against the skin with styles designed for different levels of support and everyday wear. When something feels comfortable, it becomes easy to make it part of your routine.

A reminder to check in with yourself

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an important opportunity to pay a little more attention to our bodies. Breasts can change throughout our lives so knowing what is normal for you can help you notice when something feels different.

Take some time this month to check in with yourself and get familiar with how your breasts normally look and feel.

If you notice a change that concerns you, speak to a healthcare professional. Looking after yourself doesn't always have to be complicated. Sometimes it starts with simply paying attention.

Comfort when it matters

Sometimes, comfort becomes more important than ever. During recovery or when your body needs a little more care, what you wear can make a difference.

Boody's wireless bras are designed to feel soft and comfortable against the skin with gentle support and no underwire. With different styles and levels of support to choose from, you can find what feels right for you.

For women navigating breast cancer recovery, having something soft and easy to wear can be especially welcome. It's one small way to make getting dressed feel a little easier while your body is going through a lot.

A little more comfort, every day

This October, take a moment to listen to what your body needs and choose the things that help you feel comfortable in it.

From the bras you wear every day to the essentials you reach for without thinking, comfort can make a difference because when you feel comfortable in what you're wearing, you can get on with the things that matter most.

Discover Boody bras and find a style made for your everyday.
