When we introduced FreeMesh, we weren’t interested in creating a mesh for the sake of trends. We wanted to rethink what mesh could be through the Boody lens - softer, gentler, more breathable, and more wearable for everyday life. The result is a fabric that feels light and airy while still staying true to the values that matter most to us: comfort, simplicity, and more mindful design.

What makes FreeMesh different?

Traditional mesh can sometimes feel scratchy or restrictive. FreeMesh offers a softer, bamboo viscose mesh with moisture-wicking properties. It is breathable, stretchy, and practically weightless, combining the visual lightness of mesh with Boody’s comfort-first feel.

Why Mesh Made Sense

Mesh brings something unique to intimates and essentials: breathability. Its lighter, open construction creates the airy comfort people want in pieces worn close to the skin. This was our chance to design styles that feel fresher and lighter, delivering softness and support without the heaviness of traditional fabrics.

The biggest reason we chose mesh was comfort. FreeMesh was designed to move with the body, not work against it. Made with organically grown bamboo viscose, recycled nylon, and elastane, this garment offers a soft, flexible, and barely-there feel. Bamboo viscose is naturally breathable and gentle against the skin, making it especially well-suited for underwear and bras that sit close to the body throughout the day.
